Trekking/mountaineering gear is essential for your trip’s success and to keep your body warm and safe. So you have to bring good-quality equipment for your trek/climb in the Himalayas. Nowadays, you can buy or rent equipment at Thamel in Kathmandu, like jackets, sleeping bags, etc. If you have any questions or need any more information about trekking gear, you can email us.

Trekking gear and packing list are:
1. Bodywear
- Lightweight jacket
- Windproof and Waterproof Jacket (Gore-Tex or similar)
- Lightweight down jacket
- Raincoat
- Waterproof trousers
- Lightweight trousers
- Trekking/Hiking shorts
- Thermal (Top and bottom)
- Fleece or warm mid-layer
- 2/3 t-shirts/shirts
- Spare underwear
2. Headwear
- Warm hat (wool or fleece)
- Sun Hat
- Balaclava or neck gaiter
- Sunglasses
3. Hand Wear
- Gloves
- Gloves liner (Recommend for high altitude and for winter trek)
4. Footwear
- Waterproof hiking/trekking boots
- Trekking/hiking socks
- Lighter walking socks.
- Gaiters
- Crampons or chained spikes that will fit any boot (for winter trek)
- A pair of slip-on shoes or sandals to use in the hotel.
5. Essential Items
- Daypack with rain cover.
- Duffel bag for the porter to carry your overnight things.
- Good Quality Sleeping Bag
- Trekking Poles
6. Drinks/Hydration
- Insulated water bottle
- Water bottle for normal use.
- Water purification tablets or filter

Note: Sleeping bags, down jackets, and trekking poles are possible to buy or rent at Thamel in Kathmandu (if you inform us, we will help to manage these things).
