CHISAPANI HIKE/TREK HIGHLIGHTS

Chisapani Trek
Chisapani Trek is one of the Short Trekking trails to the north of Kathmandu city. It is located in the Sindhupalchok district and is a place to trek near Kathmandu. It is an easy and short trek, best for those who don’t have enough time for long and adventurous trekking. If you have a few days extra time in Kathmandu from your trekking, peak climbing, and any other adventure. It is also a great option for the one-day hike to Chisapani.
Chisapani Trek Route is popular for the spectacular views of the Central and Eastern Himalayan panorama, incredible snow-capped mountain peaks, and beautiful Nepali villages with green terraces. Walking through the jungle with nice sounds from different Birds is amazing on this trek as well.
Sundarijal to Chisapani Hike
The hike starts from Sundarijal after an hour’s drive from Thamel (Center Kathmandu). Then our journey passed through the Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park. Besides, the beautiful Tamang village of Mulkharka 1800m. From there you can enjoy seeing Kathmandu Valley. After rest and photography from Mulkharka, our trekking continues through the nice jungle walking to Chisapani Hill 2140m.

How high is Chisapani Hill?
The Chisapani hill is 2140 meters from the sea level. It is a famous day hike destination for tourists. It is a beautiful and popular hiking spot near the Kathmandu Valley.
How long is the hike?
The hike from Sundarijal to Chisapani is about 10 km for a round trip and typically takes 5-7 hours. We highly recommend staying one night at Chisapani for a sunset and sunrise view.
What is the difficulty level?
The hike is considered easy to moderate. It involves some uphill climbs and stairs, but it’s manageable for most hikers with a reasonable fitness level.
What should I bring?
Chisapani is a short trek or one-day hike so no need to bring more and extra things. Essential items include water, snacks, comfortable hiking shoes, sunscreen, a hat, a light jacket, a backpack, and a camera to capture the beautiful views.
Is it safe to hike alone?

The best times to hike are during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) seasons when the weather is mild and the skies are clear. But it is also good to visit in winter season like December to February.

Itinerary
Day 1, Arrival in Kathmandu Airport (1,400m) and transfer to hotel
We, Himalaya Darshan Treks heartily welcome you and your group to Nepal. One of our company staff will take you to your hotel in Kathmandu. The person will be waiting outside the baggage hall of the Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, holding an A4-size paper with your name and our company name. So, you have to look for that person for your pick up from the airport. Your check-in at the hotel.
Day 2, Drive to Sundarijal and Trek to Chisapani (2,140m). Stay at tea house.
After a short drive (about one hour) to Sundarijal, Then we will start our trekking through Mulkharka. It reached through a one-hour difficult climb. The trail to Chisopani steadies and undulates after Mulkharka. Chisopani offers distant and modest but panoramic views of Nepal’s Himalayan mountains. Stay at the guest house.
Day 3, Enjoy with Sunrise view and Incredible Himalayan panorama then Trek back to Sundarijal and drive to hotel in Kathmandu.
