Bhaktapur Nagarkot Tour

Bhaktapur Nagarkot Tour offers a visit to one of the most historical & exciting places in Bhaktapur, enjoy the incredible mountain view and sunrise from  Nagarkot. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is listed as a World Heritage Site (UNESCO). The Historical Bhaktapur Durbar Square is an aggregation of pagoda and shikhara–style sanctuaries assembled around a fifty-five-window castle of block and wood.

The square is a standout among the most enchanting valleys.  It features the antiquated of the lords roosted over stone monuments, the watchman divinities watching out from their havens, the wood carvings in exceptionally put struts, lintels, tympanums as well as doors, and windows. furthermore, they all appear to frame a very coordinated orchestra.

Visit Changu Narayan

The Changu Narayan is the old temple of Vishnu in the early 5th century AD. It is located at the end of a long ridge that runs well into the valley. This place is to the northeast 20 km from Kathmandu through the countryside. It commands the most magnificent views of Kathmandu Valley and the Himalayas ranges in the background. This is also a most important historical, religious place where one can see the largest number of finest stone sculptures dating back to the 5th-9th century AD. This is also known as a living monumental garden.

Nagarkot Tour

In addition, the Nagarkot 2,165m is a very popular tourist destination in Nepal. It is situated northeast, 28 km far from Kathmandu, and 20 km far from Bhaktapur. This is a magnificent place to view the panorama of major peaks of the eastern Himalayan ranges including Mt. Everest on clear days. It is also very spectacular to watch the sunrise and sunset over the Himalayan ranges.

There are also several luxury hotels and lodges available for accommodation to spend the night. We can do Short Day Hiking to explore the Tamang villages and other areas of interest for easy-going trekkers. Nagarkot is famous for natural lovers and honeymooners.


Day 1, Arrival in Kathmandu Airport (1,350m) and transfer to hotel

We, Himalaya Darshan Treks heartily welcome you and your group to Nepal. One of our company staff will take you to your hotel in Kathmandu. The person will be waiting outside the baggage hall of the Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, holding an A4-size paper with your name and our company name. So, you have to look for that person for your pick up from the airport. Your check-in at the hotel.

Day 2, Drive to Bhaktapur and Sightseeing. Drive to Nagarkot. Stay at hotel.
Day 3, Enjoy the morning view and drive to Kathmandu.

You will have to wake up early in the morning for an amazing sunrise view. Likewise, breathtaking view of the sun kissing the Himalayas. You can take your time at Nagarkot. Then drive back to Kathmandu. Stay at the hotel.
