Mardi Himal Tea House Trek

Mardi Himal Tea House Trek is a new and short Trekking trail in the Annapurna Region. This Trek offers a spectacular view of Mt Annapurna and the Dhaulagiri Himalayan range. Likewise, Mt Fishtail (Machhapuchhare), Mt Manaslu range, and many beautiful snow-capped mountain peaks. Mardi Himal Trekking is known as Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek. It is a beautiful and nice Tea House Trekking in Annapurna.

Hike to Mardi Himal Base Camp

The Mardi Himal Base Camp 4,500m is the highest elevation of the Mardi Himal Trek Altitude. The hardest trial of the Mardi Himal Trek is going from High Camp to Mardi Himal Base Camp and walking through some rocky trail. You have to spend one night at high camp 3,580m. Walking from Forest Camp to Low Camp is nice jungle walking.

The cost depends on your group size and types of services like transportation (By flight from/to Pokhara, Drive by private vehicle) and the standard of your hotel in Kathmandu, etc.  We Himalaya Darshan Treks offer two different types of trek packages (Full board package and Service package) The Mardi Himal Trek Cost, we offer is USD 450 to 620 per person for a full board. We also provide a cheap and budget-friendly package.

Mardi Himal Trek Route

There are some different points to start and end your Mardi himal trek. It is a flexible trek route and it depends on your holiday time. So you can make your trek long and short. Normally, this trek is 5 to 12 days trek from Kathmandu. However, Pokhara – Pitam deurali- low camp- high cam to Mardi Himal Base Camp and trek descend to sidhing then drive Pokhara route are one of the most popular routes.

Best Time for Mardi Himal Trek

You can do Mardi Himal Trek throughout the year, but September to December and March to May months are the best to do this trek. Trekking from March to May, the forest in this area is very beautiful and colorful blooming with rhododendron flowers. So, in spring season is the best and most beautiful. You can enjoy your holiday with the colorful Rhododendron. Mardi Himal Trek is one of the best and most beautiful short treks in the Annapurna region.

Mardi Himal Trek Itinerary

Itinerary

Day 1, Arrival in Kathmandu Airport (1,400m) and transfer to hotel

We, Himalaya Darshan Treks heartily welcome you and your group to Nepal. One of our company staff will take you to your hotel in Kathmandu. The person will be waiting outside the baggage hall of the Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, holding an A4-size paper with your name and our company name. So, you have to look for that person for your pick up from the airport.

Day 2, Drive to Pokhara by tourist bus. Stay at hotel.

After breakfast, we will scenic drive to Pokhara for about 5/6 hours. The distance between Kathmandu and Pokhara is 200 kilometers. Your transfer to the hotel.

Day 3, Drive to Kade and Trek to Pitam Deurali (2100m) Stay at tea house.

After breakfast, we will drive by car, jeep, or bus (depending on your group size) to Kade. It is a nice and beautiful short drive from Pokhara. we will have a short trek to Australian Camp 2150m and stop for lunch and enjoy amazing mountain view from here. After lunch, we will continue our trek to Pitam Deaurali and Stay at a teahouse.

Day 4, Trek to Low Camp (2,990m), Stay at tea house.

After breakfast, we will start our journey to the Low Camp. Our trail is now carefully winding through the woodland. The trail gently ascends through a forest of rhododendrons, oak, hemlock, birch, and bamboo. From there, you can enjoy stunning views of Ghandruk village across a wide valley and find it fascinating to see the green forest’s flowering flowers in the spring. Stay at a teahouse.

Day 5, Trek to High Camp (3,620m), Stay at tea house.

Today, we will start our journey to reach High Camp. There are wonderful views of Machhapucre, you can take good photographs. Then our footsteps ascent through a shaded rhododendron woodland leads to Badal Dada. From here we can enjoy beautiful mountain and hill views while taking a lunch break. We will continue through the ridge to High Camp after lunch. We will take in the breathtaking views along the ridge. Both Annapurna South and the Annapurna Range appear to be almost touching high Camp. Stay at a teahouse.

Day 6, Hike to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500m), Trek descends to Badal Danda (3,300m) Stay at tea house.

Although it’s a beautiful day for the climb up to Mardi Himal Base Camp, the high altitude will make it feel a little more challenging. We have to leave that morning before breakfast to see the Annapurna mountain range at sunrise. Base Camp seems like nirvana once you arrive there. We returned to high camp for breakfast after spending an amazing day there, and the walking track continues in the same direction as Badal Danda. Stay at a tea house.

Day 7, Drive to Pokhara, transfer to hotel

After breakfast, The trek leads to the picturesque Gurung village of Sidhing after a steep descent through a rhododendron forest. we will catch a vehicle for a short and beautiful drive to Pokhara. You can enjoy a visiting look around Pokhara. It is a very nice tourist city in Nepal. You can enjoy and relax during your half-day at Pokhara.

Day 8, Drive to Kathmandu by tourist bus and transfer to hotel.

Returning to Kathmandu entails a 7-hour trip through the Trisuli River and via numerous towns. You can spend your time relaxing or shopping for souvenirs to take home. In the evening, we will offer a goodbye dinner with cultural dance performances in a traditional restaurant to memorated your incredible journey.

Day 9, Final Departure

Today is the last day of this vacation in Nepal; you are saying your goodbyes to the mountains as your tour in Nepal comes to a close today. You can go shopping or sightseeing if you have extra time. Himalaya Darshan Treks will pick you up from your hotel around 3 hours before your planned flight.
