It was closed for tourism activities for 6 months due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Now, Nepal has ended the 6-month-long lockdown from the 17th of September 2020. Domestic flights, hotels, restaurants, and all business, likewise, Long route transportation also opens from the 17th of September.
The decision from the Council of Ministers- Trekking, Mountaineering, and all tourism activities will resume in Nepal from October 17th, 2020. The health protocol, Mask, Sanitizer, and social distancing are necessary. The travelers need to bring PCR negative reports within 72 hours. Travelers can do all the tourism activities in Nepal.
