Itinerary


Day 1, Arrival in Kathmandu Airport (1,350m) and transfer to hotel

We, Himalaya Darshan Treks, heartily welcome you and your group to Nepal. One of our company staff will take you to your hotel in Kathmandu. The person will be waiting outside the baggage hall of the Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, holding an A4-size paper with your name and our company name. So, you have to look for that person for your pick up from the airport. Your check-in at the hotel.

Day 2, Drive to Pokhara (850m) by tourist bus and transfer to hotel.

Your guide picks you up from the hotel, and it’s a short drive to the tourist bus station for the drive to Pokhara. We will drive to Pokhara for about 6/7 hours. The distance between Kathmandu and Pokhara is 200 kilometers. Your transfer to the hotel. You can enjoy exploring Pokhara in the evening.

Day 3, Drive to Tikhedhunga (1,540) and Trek to Ulleri (1,960m). Stay at lodge.

After breakfast in Pokhara, we will drive to Birethanti through the highway to Baglung by taxi/car (it depends on your group size). We will enter/check your ACAP permit, then start walking. Lunch at Tikhedhunga, then we will start our trekking all the way uphill to Ulleri. Stay at the lodge.

Day 4, Trek to Ghorepani (2,860m) Stay at lodge.

After breakfast, we will start our second day of trekking. We will be walking through a beautiful jungle, specifically a rhododendron forest. Trekking from March to May is very colorful with rhododendrons blooming. We will continue to Nayathanti, passing through Banthati, and stop for lunch. After lunch, continue our journey to Ghorepani at 2,860 m. It is a lovely and famous place for the short trek in Annapurna. We will stay at a beautiful hotel, and we will have delicious food at Ghorepani.

Day 5, Hike to Poonhill (3,210m).

Early morning Hike to Poon Hill (3,210 m) in about 1 hour. Enjoy incredible mountain views of the Manaslu, Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri Himalayan ranges. Likewise, Nilgiri North and South, Tukuche Peak, and surrounding views.

The amazing sunrise view, Green Valley, and much more. Breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast, the trek descends to Banthati, then drives to Pokhara.

 

 

 

Day 6, Drive to Kathmandu by tourist bus.

Returning to Kathmandu entails a 7-hour trip through the Trisuli River and via numerous towns. You can spend your time relaxing or shopping for souvenirs to take home. In the evening, we will offer a goodbye dinner with cultural dance performances in a traditional restaurant to commemorate your incredible journey.

What is excluded in this package?

  • Extra night accommodation in Kathmandu and Pokhara than the scheduled itinerary.
  • Lunch and dinner in Kathmandu and Pokhara.
  • Your expenses, like Laundry, bar bills, cold drinks, etc.
  • Tips for guides and potters. (Tips is expected.)
  • Nepal entry visa fees (USD 30 for 15 days)
  • Desserts: Sweet things like chocolate, cake, pie, pudding, etc.
  • Any other expenses that are not mentioned in the cost are included.

Optional Choice:

  • Porter: $100 for 5 days (One porter for two trekkers)
  • Flight costs $105 p/p one-way and $210 p/p round trip (From Kathmandu to Pokhara and Pokhara to Kathmandu)

NOTE: You will be responsible for covering the costs of your accommodation, food, and other expenses in Kathmandu. If you return back early from the trek because of illness or any other issue.  The money you paid has already been spent on transportation, Permits, guides’ salaries, hotels in Kathmandu, mountain lodging, food, etc. Therefore, in this case, it is not refundable.
