There are many possibilities to start and end your Kanchenjunga Trek. It means you can take a direct flight to Suketar from Kathmandu. However, flights are not available every day, which may not align with your schedule and itinerary. You have another option: you can fly from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur (eastern Terai region), then you can drive to Ilam Bazaar and continue to drive to Taplejung (your trekking starting point). It will be most suitable for your Kanchenjunga Trek.

Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek Itinerary
1. Arrival in Kathmandu (1,335 m) and transfer to the hotel.
2, A free day or sightseeing in Kathmandu. This day is required to make a Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek special permit with your original passport.
3. Flight from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur and drive to Ilam Bazaar/Kanya. Stay at the hotel.
4. Drive from Ilam/Kanyam to Taplejung (Phungling Bazaar). Stay at the hotel.
5. Drive to Ranipul and a short trek to Sekathum. Stay at the tea house.
6. Trek to Amjilasa (2,498 m); stay at a tea house.
7. Trek to Gyabla (2725 m). Stay at the hotel
8. Trek to Ghunsa village (3,415 m). Stay at the hotel
9. Trek to Khambachen (4,146 m) and stay at a tea house. Beautiful views of Ghabur Peak (6,305 m), Pholesobi Peak (6,652 m), and Janu Himal (7,710 m) (Kumbhakarna).
10. Acclimatization Day: Hike to the Janu Viewpoint at 4,420 m (Kumbhakarna). Enjoy the stunning view of Janu Himal and many more.
11. Trek to Lhonak (4,795 m) and stay at a tea house.
12. Hiking to Pangpema (5,140 m) (Kanchenjunga North Base Camp). Enjoying great views of Mt. Kanchenjunga (8,586 m), Yalung Kang (8,505 m) (Kanchenjunga West), and a beautiful Himalayan panorama, the Kanchenjunga glacier, blue sheep, etc. Then trek back to Lhonak.
13. Trek back to Ghunsa village (3,415 m).
14. Trek to Sele La Camp (4,200 m), and stay at the teahouse (it is also possible to trek directly from Ghunsa to Cheram).
15. Trek to Cheram (3,870 m) via Mirgin La Pass (4,800 m) and Sinelapche Bhanjyang (4,700 m), where you can enjoy incredible views of Janu Himal, Mt. Makalu (8,463 m), and Bharuntse Himal from the top of Mirgin La. Likewise, views of Rathong Peak, the Kabru Himalayan range, and Kanchenjunga south from the Sinelapche La Pass (4,650 m).
16. Trek to Ramche (4,610 m) and stay at a tea house.
17. Hiking to Okhtang (4,810 m) (Kanchenjunga South Base Camp). Enjoy spectacular views of the Mt. Kanchenjunga Himalayan range, Khambachen Peak, the Kabru Himalayan Range, and Rathong Peak. This trek also includes Yalung Glacier, glacial lakes, wildlife, and blue sheep, among other attractions. Trek back to Cheram (3,870 m).
18, Trek to Yamphuding (Sherpa gaon).
17. Drive to Ilam Bazaar. Stay at the hotel.
18. Drive from Ilam Bazaar to Bhadrapur and flight to Kathmandu.
