Typically spanning 9 to 10 days, this trek is ideal for those with limited time who still wish to immerse themselves in Nepal’s less-traveled and pristine region.
The trek typically lasts 9 to 10 days, starting from Machha Khola and ending at Dharapani. Along the way, you’ll encounter diverse landscapes, ancient monasteries, and unique wildlife. It’s a challenging high pass trek, best suited for experienced trekkers. It is a short version, no time for acclimatization, so it makes this trek challenging. Especially, this short version is for those travelers who don’t have enough time and interest to visit the Manaslu Trek.
Highlights of the Trek:
Stunning Mountain Views: Witness panoramic vistas of towering peaks, including Mount Manaslu (8,163 meters), the eighth-highest mountain in the world.

Key Considerations Of the Short Manaslu Trek:

Permits: The Manaslu region is a restricted area; trekkers must obtain a special permit and be accompanied by a registered guide.
Best Seasons: The optimal times for this trek are during the pre-monsoon (March to May) and post-monsoon (September to November) periods, when the weather is stable, and the skies are clear.
Physical Fitness: While the trek is shorter, it remains physically demanding due to high altitudes and challenging terrains. Adequate preparation and acclimatization are essential.
Accommodation: Along the Manaslu circuit trek route, mountain teahouses are available. They provide comfortable lodging and delicious meals. But not luxurious accommodation, so it’s advisable to be prepared for simple living conditions.
Finally, we at Himalaya Darshan Treks highly recommend the Manaslu Circuit Trek for your holiday in Nepal. But if you don’t have enough time, the Manaslu Circuit Short Trek is the best for you.
