We provide additional information about the Everest Trek. We mainly focus on providing great information about the Everest Three Pass Trek through our Three Passes Trek Blog.

The three-pass trek starts from Lukla. After a scenic 25-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, we will continue our trek to check the pass through many beautiful Sherpa villages. The trek includes stops at Phakding, Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, and Dingboche. Next, early in the morning after checking in, we hike to Chhukung Ri (5,535 m), which is the best place to see beautiful mountain views and glaciers. A hike to Chhukung Ri is good for your acclimatization to your three-high-pass trek.

Kongma La Pass (5,535 m): This is the highest pass and presents a significant challenge.

Our guests and staff are currently on the Kongma La Pass as they make their way to the Three Passes Trek.

The Kongma La Pass (5,535 m) is one of the highest passes in the Three Passes Trek. It will be a little bit hard for you due to its high altitude. After an early morning breakfast at Chhukung, we start our hiking to Khongmala Pass; it’s about 3.5 to 4 hours of lovely walking uphill, and then we will reach Kongma La Top. We can enjoy the beautiful views of Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m), and Mt. Makalu (8,463 m). Similarly, we will witness numerous other breathtaking mountains, glaciers, and lakes.

After a few minutes of rest, we will continue our journey descending to Lobuche and walking through the glacier. We will join the Labuche, which is the main trekking trail to Everest Base Camp. The next morning, we will continue our journey to Everest Base Camp, crossing through glaciers, including a beautiful view of the Everest Himalayan panorama, the Everest Glacier, the Khumbu Icefall, etc., and then we will reach Gorakshep.

It is the last place to stay in the Everest base camp. In the afternoon, we will hike to Everest Base Camp. Next, early in the morning, we will hike to Kala Patthar peak (5,545 m). Kalapather is the best place to see the view of Mt. Everest just in front of you. After the hike to Kalapathar, we will continue to descend to Labuche. Then, we will take a different route to reach Dzongla.

Cho La Pass (5,420 m) There is an icy trail that leads to three passes.

The route to the Chola Pass (5,420 m) is used by both our guests and staff.

Particularly, this Everest Three Passes Trek features the Chola Pass (5,420 m) as its second-highest peak. Next, early in the morning, we will have breakfast at Dzongla. We start hiking toward our second destination, Chola Pass. It will be a little bit hard for you to climb all the way uphill to the top.

You have to walk through the rocky path and the snow before the Cho La Pass Top. You can rest for a few minutes and enjoy taking a picture from Chola Pass. Thereafter, we will start to descend very steeply down to Thangnak. We can head straight to Gokyo Lake if you feel well. It is preferable to stay at Thangnak if you are exhausted and lack time.

Gokyo Lake and Gokyo Ri (5,360m)

Finally, Gokyo is a very popular tourist destination in the Everest region. Gokyo Lake is a gorgeous main tourist attraction. The next morning, we will hike to Gokyo Ri (5,360 m). It takes about three hours to reach the top. Gokyo Ri is one of the most beautiful viewpoints for seeing Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Cho Oyu (8,201 m), Makalu (8,463 m), the Everest Himalayan panorama, and various lakes and glaciers. After enjoying the view, we descend to Gokyo Lake and then rest for a day there.

It is the best day for exploring the beautiful scenery of mountains, glaciers, and Gokyo Lake. After 3–4 hours of a relaxing walk, we will reach Renjo La Top, which is the third and last pass in this trek.

We will snap a photo and take in the stunning views of the mountains, including Makalu and Everest, during the brief break. It will be your enormous victory in completing the Adventure Three Passes Trek. Then we will descend to Lunde. We will stay a night at Lunde.
